Open the mesh in Blender, Meshmixer, a slicer repair tool, or the provider workspace. Remove internal faces and duplicate shells, close holes, recalculate normals, join intended parts, and separate parts that need independent orientation. Confirm that every decorative element is actually connected to the body.
Set real units and final dimensions before judging thickness. Increase fragile walls, pins, fingers, and accessories for the chosen material and printer. Flatten or add a base where required. For resin, consider drainage and hollowing; for filament, consider nozzle width, layer direction, bridges, and unsupported overhangs.
